How to wear it

At home it does the job on its own. Out of the house, the trick is to stop treating it as loungewear: pair it with your favourite Uggs or trainers and a cross-body bag for the school run or a coffee, or swap to ankle boots and a longline coat and it holds up for lunch or an afternoon of shopping. Beige and light grey are the soft, easy ones. Green and grey are the ones to pick if you would rather it did not look like you had just got up. Black is the one that will get worn most.

Size & fit

This set comes up small — we recommend ordering one size up. It is designed to be oversized on the top half, so a size up gives you the drop-shoulder shape you can see in the photos rather than a snug fit. The size guide on this page lists the bust, waist and hip measurements each size is meant to fit; those are body measurements, not the measurements of the set itself. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one.

Care

Knitwear lasts longest on a cool, gentle wash, turned inside out, with nothing heavy in the drum alongside it. Do not tumble dry. Reshape it while damp and dry it flat rather than on a hanger, so the shoulders keep their line and the trousers do not stretch at the knee.
