The hood adjusts on cord stoppers, so it stays put when the wind gets underneath it. A full length zip runs to a chin guard at the top, and the two side pockets sit under the flap of the front panel rather than on top of it. Elasticated cuffs and hem close the gaps where cold air usually gets in. It packs down small enough to live in a bag for the days it turns.
