This teddy gilet is made from thick, curly teddy fabric and has no sleeves, so your body stays warm while your arms move freely, and there are no double sleeves bunching up under a coat. The shape is boxy and hip length, with a V-neck and three press studs down the front. Wear it open over a T-shirt on a mild autumn day, or fastened over a roll-neck jumper when it gets colder. Available in ten colours, from soft neutrals to bright pink and yellow.

How to wear it

The easy autumn look is a white T-shirt with wide-leg jeans and trainers, with the gilet worn open so it falls straight to the hip. Add a roll-neck or a fine knit underneath and you can keep wearing it well into winter. The neutral shades go with almost everything in your wardrobe, while the bright colours lift a grey day. Under a long coat or trench, it adds a warm extra layer without tight sleeves.

Size & fit

The gilet hangs loose and straight, with no shaping at the waist, and the shoulders sit just past your own. It finishes at the hip: in size M it is 61 cm (24 in) long. According to the supplier it comes up small, so we recommend ordering one size larger than you usually wear, especially if you want to layer a chunky jumper underneath.
