Can I wear thick socks with these?
You can, but the fit is narrow through the foot. If thick wool socks are your everyday choice, take half a size up for more room.

How do I get winter road salt off?
Give them a wipe with a damp cloth while the salt is still fresh. PVC does not soak it up, so nothing stains or dries into the surface.

Will the stretchy collar loosen with time?
The elastic is built into the collar instead of being sewn on top, so it holds its shape through regular wear. Try not to pull them on by the edge of the collar. Take hold of the heel instead.

Are these for cold weather too, or only rain?
Both. PVC keeps out wind and wet, so with a thicker sock they cope with slush and snowy days as well.
